Okay, so it’s February 1 instead of January 1. But it’s worth it! I think the new website looks great, although it is fairly plain. It is designed to be informational, not flashy, and I have tried to include all of the “official” information you are supposed to have before filing bankruptcy. These disclosures, from the United States Trustee and from Congress, are on the click-tabs on the left center of the site.
Beyond that, of course, bankruptcy is an intimately personal decision. Everyone’s situation is different, and typically problems are proportional to one’s income. This means that $20,000 in unsecured debt may not seem like much if you’re in an upper-income bracket, but if you’re an hourly employee it can seem like $2 million.
We understand that this is a sensitive, important decision. We will give you the time and attention that you deserve. Feel free to give us a call–and feel free to comment on the new website.
Thanks–
